Three people. One idea. Real Urlaubshütten
We are Pauline, Daniel and Julia – a family team from Tyrol.
We founded Urlaubshütten in 2024. As the platform we ourselves had always been looking for: partners who understand, guests who enjoy booking and agents who take pleasure in their work. Because that is how a happy three-way relationship emerges from which everyone benefits.

Pauline Abbes
Managing director & founder
“Every accommodation tells its own story – and I listen well.”
30+ years of tourism experience: Trained insurance clerk, travel agency clerk, Alm farmer, direct marketer and former bank branch manager. Pauline knows all sides – what hosts need, what guests expect. You feel that from the first contact to the last day of your holiday.
Pauline documents every accommodation personally with authentic photos and honest descriptions. She makes sure you really see and know everything before booking. Whether you want to know what the special features of the seasons mean for your holiday or which hidden natural treasures you should discover – Pauline knows the answers.
Daniel Sprenger
Founder & man of the mountains, grew up on the Alm
“I have been letting myself for 10 years and know what farming families need.”
Grew up on the Alm, 20 years a state-certified ski instructor & ski guide, 10 years a host.
Daniel photographs every accommodation, also with the drone, so that as a guest you know exactly what to expect. He is your point of contact for technical questions, the surroundings of the huts and regional knowledge.
Daniel gladly shares his 50 favourite activities in the mountains with you – from secret hiking trails to the most beautiful viewpoints. He is currently completing his training as a sustainability and CSR manager (graduating April 2026). His 9 golden hut tips help you protect nature and experience it intensively at the same time.
Julia Sprenger
Founder & the soul of the organisation
“I know what a good experience needs – and what it doesn’t.”
15+ years of gastronomy & guest care, 7 years a host. Trained hotel and restaurant specialist.
Julia is a certified restaurant specialist, hotel and hospitality assistant, office administrator and for seven years a hut landlady and host. Over 15 years of experience in gastronomy and guest care make her the organiser you can fully rely on.
Julia keeps the homepage up to date, answers e-mails, ensures a smooth booking process and is always there when you have a question – whether about the accommodation or the surroundings. As the mother of two sons she knows exactly what families need: enough space, a working kitchen and hosts with heart. She put together our packing list – so you don’t forget anything important.
