Questions about booking and payment

How do I book my hut?
You book directly via urlaubshuetten.com or write to us – we accompany you personally. The booking becomes binding with our written confirmation by email. Especially in high season it pays to reserve early.

Can I also book at short notice?
Yes, if the hut is free and the host can prepare it in time. We collect last-minute available dates especially for you – often at reduced prices.

Can I already book for Christmas, New Year’s Eve or the next season?
Yes. Many huts can be booked well in advance – especially sought-after periods like Christmas and New Year’s Eve should be secured early, as they go quickly.

What payment options are there?
The classic way: by bank transfer. Cash payment on arrival is possible if you expressly agree this with us beforehand. We do not offer card payment.

How does the payment work (deposit, balance)?
After booking, a deposit becomes due – depending on the hut 12 % or 14.4 % of the rental price (incl. 20 % VAT). You can see the exact amount in the description and in your booking confirmation. You transfer the balance directly to the host no later than 21 days before arrival. You will receive a reminder email in good time.

How do cancellations work?
The same cancellation scale applies to all huts, based on the rental price: up to 91 days before arrival only the processing fee in the amount of the deposit, 90–61 days 30 %, 60–31 days 60 %, 30–8 days 90 %, from 7 days 100 %. The good news: if we can re-let your hut for the period, no cancellation fees apply – only the processing fee remains.

Can I rebook?
Rebooking is possible up to 12 weeks before arrival – for the same accommodation and once per booking. For this we charge a 49 € processing fee including a new invoice.

What if I get ill?
We are sorry. Legally, however, illness or an accident unfortunately does not count as „extraordinary circumstances“ – then the normal cancellation scale applies. That is exactly what travel cancellation insurance is for, and we really recommend taking one out.

What happens if I do not receive my booking confirmation?
First check your spam folder. If there is nothing there, get in touch – we will send it again immediately.
