Over the turn of the year almost all hosts rent by the week, often with a fixed arrival day on 27 or 28 December. What applies to a hut is stated on its page.
In many municipalities and in protected areas private fireworks are prohibited. For wild animals the noise is a serious burden in winter. Sparklers and a glass outside will do just as well.
At some huts the car stays in the valley and the host collects you with a tractor or piste basher. With each hut it is stated how it works there.
Read the winter guideMany shops close at midday. Plan the big shop for the 30th – and ask the host about farms nearby.
