Holiday apartment Austria – where our apartments are
Anyone wanting to rent a holiday apartment in Austria does not get a database with a thousand entries from us, but 14 apartments we have been inside ourselves. They are spread over four areas: Kleinwalsertal, Karwendel, Riedhof in the Tyrolean lowlands and the Tux Alps.
Holiday apartment in the Kleinwalsertal
Six of our holiday apartments are in the Kleinwalsertal in Vorarlberg – the Walser Lodges, named after the mountains around them: Ifen, Widderstein, Hammerspitze, Elferkopf, Zwoelferkopf and Baerenkopf. The Panorama Lodge Ifen is a loft apartment for four, the others take up to six people.
Holiday apartment at the Karwendel
Four apartments are at the Karwendel in Tyrol: Waldsicht and Alpenfamilienglueck in Gnadenwald, the Pferdeheimat also in Gnadenwald and the Sonnseitn in Fritzens. Three of them belong to farms that are still being worked.
Holiday apartment at the Riedhof in the Alpbachtal
Three apartments are at the organic farm Riedhof in Breitenbach am Inn. The former grain stores – Troadkammer and Roggnkammer in Tyrolean dialect – have become two studios for two people each. The Zuahaus, the small second house next to the farmhouse, has 56 square metres and room for five.
Holiday apartment in the Tux Alps
The Sternenhimmel at the Kolsassberg is a holiday apartment for five people in the Tux Alps – dogs allowed.
What distinguishes a holiday apartment from a holiday house
In a holiday apartment you share the building, but not the apartment. With a holiday house, the whole house is part of the rental. Anyone looking for quiet without any neighbours is better off at our holiday houses or huts; anyone weighing up location and price, at the holiday apartment.
