Chalet with a hot tub in Tyrol
Every one of our chalets comes with a jacuzzi, heated all year: at Chalet Dream and Chalet Time on the roof terrace with a view of the Stubai mountains, at Chalet Calm in the heated jacuzzi house in its own garden, at the Tyrolean hut out in the open on the covered terrace. Warm water with a wide view of the surrounding mountains – private, with no waiting your turn.
Spa, sauna and a well-appointed house
The three Slow Chalets in Neustift share a 100 m² spa in the main house: Finnish sauna, steam bath, plunge pool with an infrared cabin, a hay bed and a quiet room. Add a fully equipped kitchen, several bedrooms, your own entrance, an EV charging point and a ski room at the building. Luxurious in the sense of: everything is there. Exclusive in the sense of: only for you.
Chalet or hut – which suits you?
A chalet is usually larger, newer and more comfortably equipped than an old alpine hut. Both stand in the mountains, and both you rent entirely for yourselves. If you are after the rustic – a wood stove, one room where everything happens – our alpine huts and mountain cabins are the place; if you want comfort with a spa and a jacuzzi, take the chalet. Access, ski room and winter – described honestly
Neustift lies at almost 1,000 m, some 20 km south-west of Innsbruck. The nearest ski area is the Stubai glacier, and the Schlick 2000 as well – a ski day starts with a short drive, the ski bus stops in the village, the ski room is at the building. The Tyrolean hut you reach by car right to the door. We have driven every access road ourselves and tell you before you book what to expect in the snow.

Our chalets stand in two places in Tyrol: three in Neustift im Stubaital, one above Terfens in the Silberregion Karwendel. Two settings, two kinds of chalet holiday – the alpine landscape of the Stubai valley with a glacier at its head, and the Tyrolean mountains by the Karwendel with quiet and a little distance from everything. Chalets in the Tannheimer Tal, the Alpbachtal or the Kitzbühel Alps we will show once we have looked at one there ourselves – until then it stays with these four.

In Neustift, at almost 1,000 m, stand the three Slow Chalets: the Dream with 65 m² for two to seven and the jacuzzi on its own roof terrace, the Calm on the ground floor with 60 m² for four to six, a garden and a heated jacuzzi house, the Time over two levels with 72 m² for up to six and the jacuzzi right at the top. Alpine paths from the front door, a glacier at the head of the valley.

Above Terfens, at 890 m, stands the Tyrolean hut: a chalet for exactly two people, 30 m², with a stone pine double bed and a private hot tub out in the open on the covered terrace. Three kilometres to the village, the Karwendel opposite, Innsbruck half an hour away – a place to withdraw to, in a quiet spot.

Are the chalets bookable all year?
Yes, all of them – in summer with alpine paths from the front door, in winter with a ski room at the building and a hot tub in the snow.
Is there a chalet with a hot tub in Tyrol?
Yes, all four have their own jacuzzi: the Slow Chalets Dream, Calm and Time in Neustift im Stubaital and the Tyrolean hut by the Karwendel. A hot pot and a sauna barrel come on top at the huts with a hot tub in Bischofshofen.
How far is it from the chalet in the Stubai valley to Innsbruck?
Neustift im Stubaital lies about 20 kilometres south-west of Innsbruck – a good half hour by car or by bus.
Can I rent a chalet in Austria with a dog?
Dogs are welcome at several of our places. The hut finder shows which ones through the filter for dogs, as does our page on holidays with a dog – and we tell you before you book.
Is the sauna in the chalet private?
At the three Slow Chalets in Neustift the spa is shared, and in return much larger: 100 m² with a Finnish sauna, steam bath, plunge pool and quiet room. The jacuzzi belongs to each chalet alone. For a private sauna inside your own place, look at our huts with a sauna.
What does a chalet in Austria cost?
A chalet is let as a whole, not per person. The prices are shown at each chalet and depend on the season, the number of people and the length of your stay.
