Which huts are especially suitable for families?
Accommodations with a suitable bed layout, enough living space, a usable kitchen and a location that suits your children’s age. Many beds alone are not enough.
What does “child-friendly” mean with you?
Depending on the house, this can include a cot, high chair, playground, animals at the farm or particularly suitable surroundings. The concrete features are listed with the accommodation.
Are farms suitable for small children?
Often yes. Animals and farm life are exciting. But parents need to bear in mind that a real farm is not a fenced-off theme park.
Are there family huts right on the slope or hiking trail?
Yes. Some houses lie right on family-friendly trails or, in winter, on the slope. Difficulty and surroundings should still suit the children’s age.
What should we bear in mind with water or a pond?
A pond is a great holiday experience, but not an unsupervised playground. Clarify location and access and plan supervision to suit the children’s age.
How do we find a hut without unnecessary driving?

How do I recognise child-friendly huts?
Use the “child-friendly” filter in the accommodation list. Every hut description states honestly what awaits families – from the cot to the play meadow. We have been there ourselves.
Are there huts for larger families or small groups?
Yes, some of our huts and holiday homes offer room for 7 and more people. You’ll find them quickly via the guest selection in the search.
What can children experience around the huts?
Depending on the hut: animals on the farm, play meadows, pram-friendly paths, swimming lakes and family-friendly excursion destinations. Each hut’s leisure chapter describes it concretely.
Are a cot and high chair available?
At many huts, yes – it is listed in the equipment of the respective accommodation. If not, we are happy to ask the host directly for you.
