Living together, cooking together and still sleeping well – exactly this mix makes a hut holiday with friends special. That is why we look not only at the number of guests but also at bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and the space to sit together.

Several bedrooms and suitable beds give everyone enough rest. Holiday together and still start the next day relaxed.

A second bathroom or a separate WC is a nice bonus for a larger group and makes the start of the day especially relaxed.

Large holiday home, chalet or apartment
Group accommodation in Austria comes in three forms with us: the spacious holiday home for 10 to 12 people like the Grafenhäusl by the Karwendel, the alpine hut for 10 like the Breitberg Alm in the Zillertal, and several holiday apartments side by side in the Kleinwalsertal for up to 14 people. All self-catering with a fully equipped kitchen, all personally visited – a villa-style pool is not part of it, a sauna often is.
Unforgettable ski holiday for groups of friends
The ski areas of Tyrol and Salzburg are close to our large holiday homes: the Zillertal from the Breitberg Alm, the family pistes around Innsbruck from the Karwendel houses, the Hochkönig from the huts above Bischofshofen, Zell am See-Kaprun and Saalbach a day trip away. Winter sports during the day, the wood stove and a big table in the evening – an unforgettable ski holiday with plenty of space for everyone.
Summer holiday in the Austrian Alps
In summer the same houses are the perfect holiday accommodation for hiking, mountain biking, a swim in the mountain lake and long evenings on the terrace. Alpine landscapes right outside the door, the Hohe Tauern National Park, the Karwendel and the Nockberge within reach – a group holiday where everyone finds their pace and relaxation.

Which hut is especially suitable for friends?
A lovely hut is one where you can cook and sit together and still have enough beds and places to retreat. Which accommodation fits best depends on your group size and your wishes.
May we celebrate a birthday or stag or hen party?
A trip together with friends is of course possible. If you are planning a larger celebration, please discuss it with us at Urlaubshütten beforehand. We clarify for you what is possible at the respective accommodation and what fits well.
How many bathrooms are comfortable for a group?
For a smaller group one bathroom can work well. With more people a second bathroom or separate WC is a nice gain in comfort.
Can we stay just for a weekend?
At some accommodations that is possible. Depending on the season, different minimum stays apply. You can see that directly with the respective hut.
What does the hut cost as a whole – and what is added?
A hut is rented as a whole, not per person. Depending on the house, final cleaning, wood or electricity and the local tourist tax are added. All amounts are listed in the accommodation's price overview before booking.
May we bring more people than stated?
The stated number of guests is the maximum for the house. If you are more at short notice, please ask us beforehand – some houses have extra beds, others do not.
