Tyrol is a land of high mountains, alpine pastures and clear lakes. Between the valleys lie historic towns, mountain villages, castles, mines and many smaller places worth a visit. In summer you go hiking, cycling or swimming. In winter, skiing, tobogganing and winter walking are part of it.

Where are there huts near a lake?
Around Lake Reintalersee in the Alpbachtal, at the Weißlahn bathing lake in the Silberregion Karwendel, and within a day trip of Lake Achensee. For every place to stay the distance is stated honestly.
