Your own entrance. Your own terrace. Your own day, which begins the way it should begin. The Roggnkammer is small – and that is exactly its size. A holiday apartment for one or two people who do not want to end up between a family holiday and a guesthouse, but in between: on the organic farm of the Eisenmann family, with animals within earshot, but with a door that nobody but you opens.

The Roggnkammer is on the ground floor of the Zuahaus, which Christina and Jakob newly erected in 2022 with old timber from the 16th century . That is not a marketing trick. Those are beams that saw snow long before anyone printed the word „Tirol" on a postcard. Inside everything is modern: a comfortable double bed, kitchenette, bathroom with a generous shower. Outside the farm lives its own rhythm – and you go over exactly when you feel like it.

Inside: everything two people need – nothing they do not need

The double bed can be converted into two single beds on request – so it is also suitable for duos of friends and mother-daughter time out. The kitchenette is fully equipped: oven, mobile induction hob, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster. The modern bathroom has a generous shower and WC, hand and bath towels included. WiFi, flat-screen TV, bed linen – everything is there. Small in layout, but well thought out: not an apartment layout, but a piece of house.

Outside: two terraces, an organic farm, your daily rhythm

The Roggnkammer has its own covered entrance on the east side – with garden chairs, the morning coffee and the first sun that arrives here. Whoever needs sun for longer moves in the afternoon to the south-facing terrace, where the light stays until the evening. On the adjoining organic farm live Highland cattle, chickens, ponies, rabbits, sheep, pigs, cats and the dog Ina – who will probably greet you first. Whoever feels like it goes over. Whoever needs quiet stays seated.

In the middle of the Alpbachtal – with three ski areas within reach

Hiking trails start right outside the door, the Reintalersee is 5 km away, the most beautiful village in Austria (Alpbach) 12 km. In winter you are in the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal-Wildschönauin 15 minutes, in the Wilder Kaiser-Brixentalin 20, in the Zillertal Arenain 25. Back at the house the ski room with ski boot heating awaits – whoever has once slipped into dry ski boots knows how to appreciate the comfort. The Schönauer cross-country trail starts 1 km away.

Cosy, everything there and excursions without end – the Roggnkammer is small because two people do not need more.

The Riedhof-Zuahaus lies in Glatzham near Breitenbach am Inn – directly reachable by car and almost as comfortably by train. Breitenbach am Inn station is in the village itself.

🐄 The animals on the organic farm

At the farm live Highland cattle, chickens, ponies, rabbits, ducks, sheep, pigs and cats – plus the dog Ina, who will probably greet you first. Whoever feels like it can watch Jakob at work in the barn, look in on the laying hens or simply listen from the terrace to how the farm lives its everyday life.

The Roggnkammer has an identically built sister called „Troadkammer", which also offers space for 2 people. Both studios lie next to each other on the ground floor of the Zuahaus – ideal for two couples or duos of friends who travel together but each want their own door. For families with children the d'kloane Mühle (up to 5 people) in the same house is recommended.
