An experience all year round

Barbecuing regionally – not only in high summer

In spring with herbs, in summer long outdoors, in autumn with pumpkin and mushrooms or in winter after tobogganing: barbecuing suits the hut in every season. Particularly good with meat, sausages, grilling cheese, bread and vegetables from the region.

Pre-order. Collect. Enjoy together. A regional barbecue package is often easier and better than a boot packed full from home.

From his own experience

Daniel knows both sides: host and direct marketer

From the Roanerhof, Daniel knows from his own experience which products guests love, how much barbecue meat a group really needs and why a personal recommendation is often worth more than a long product range.

Good food needs origin. And honest origin needs people who can answer questions.

Frequently asked

Shopping regionally on holiday – answered briefly

Is a farmers' market just as much part of shopping regionally as a farm shop?

Yes. Directly from the farm, at the farmers' market, in the farm shop or from the regional producer – all these ways bring guests closer to the food and the people of the region.

Where do I find markets and farm shops near my hut?

The magazine names first recommendations. In addition, hosts usually help best because they know the current opening times and smaller producers nearby.

Can I order barbecue meat from the region?

At many farms and butchers, yes. Especially for groups a pre-order with a suitable quantity is worthwhile.

Is barbecuing only allowed in summer?

No. Barbecuing is lovely all year round, provided the accommodation has a suitable barbecue area and the respective rules are observed.

Now all that is missing is the right hut to go with the Jause.

In the hut finder „regional products available" is already set.

Why it exists at all

Shopping directly at the farm is more than a kind gesture: for many businesses it is the basis of their existence. We have written down how this is connected.
